The weather was beautiful, the Farms Country Club golf course was in perfect shape... it all added up to a terrific day of golf and fun for Family Services of Greater Waterbury, our board members, friends and sponsors.

Our second annual Blue Jeans Ball was another huge success! Over 300 people came for great food, complimentary wine, music and of course COMEDY! We raised close to $30,000 and plan to have the event again next year! Just look at how much fun we had...

Foster/Adoptive Parent Support Group
2nd Monday of Each Month
5:30pm-7:30pm
Open to licensed foster/adoptive parents, this free group promotes kinship and support. Monthly meetings include guest speakers, special events, dinner, and limited childcare. For more information, call Ashley Tresp at 203-756-8317, or

Parent Education Program (PEP)
Days/Times Vary
Required by the State of Connecticut since 1994, the Parenting Education Program (PEP), is a six-hour course for parents who are in court over divorce, child support, custody or other family matters that involve children under eighteen years of age. This course teaches parents how to help their children during these difficult and stressful times.

The MENS Group
Mondays 4:30pm-5:30pm
Opend ended group for men aged 25 and older who need support in areas such as depression, family issues, anger management and stress. This group meets at our Waterbury location.
